Giving feedback and handling performance problems
Letting people know how they are getting on is a fundamental part of managing people at work. Unfortunately, few of us get any real feedback either positive or negative and this can have serious motivational effects. In may ways we penalise our good staff and reward the ineffective - sad but true!
This workshop is designed to help managers and supervisors deal with the main types performance and behavioural problems at work. It will also cover the basics of handling disciplinary problems, although the emphasis will be on improving performance, rather than dismissal.
